Supported Independent Living Units (SIL)

Supported Independent Living Units (SIL)

Through these programs, we respond to the needs of young people, helping them achieve personal independence and social integration. We work gradually, respecting each young person’s individual characteristics and development. We continue to support them even after adulthood, where integration and normalization are key to the process.

We address the individual needs of the young people we work with, strengthening their resilience and providing the necessary support to enable them to live independently, while enhancing their social and professional inclusion.

With the guidance of educators, young people organize their daily lives, develop initiatives, learn to prioritize their needs, and acquire the tools and skills required to build their future and take control of their lives.

Activities

A set of activities aimed at providing educational, social, and/or financial support, with a dedicated team monitoring the needs of young people and encouraging them to take charge of their personal development. These activities are a natural continuation of the protection and care we provide. We support young people on their journey to adulthood for as long as needed, until they are professionally established and ready to integrate into society as independent and self-sufficient citizens.

We design activities to improve young people’s employability and facilitate their entry into the labor market.
