SOS Children’s Villages Greece is a private, non-profit organization that serves children, regardless of any political or social affiliation, operating in accordance with the laws of our country.
The members of the governing bodies do not hold public office in political parties, associations, religious communities, or public administration.
At SOS Children’s Villages, we are committed to transparency and good governance.
We conduct annual audits of our accounts, hold the most demanding quality certifications, and apply codes of conduct and protection policies that ensure the proper performance of our organization and the well-being of the children and young people we work for.
SOS Children’s Villages is committed to communicating with and informing individuals and institutions that make targeted contributions about the use of their funds and the results achieved by the supported project or activity.
Our financial statements are externally audited every year and made publicly available.
At SOS Children’s Villages, we have implemented mechanisms that promote transparency, participation, and communication with individuals, companies, foundations, and stakeholders who support our programs and projects. These mechanisms are adapted to the diverse needs and preferences of our stakeholders.
Members and sponsors who support SOS Children’s Villages receive monthly updates on our projects and activities via email, postal mail, newsletters, social media, and other channels. Sponsors are also invited to visit our programs and learn first-hand about the activities carried out with the funds they donate.
Likewise, individuals and foundations that make targeted contributions receive information about the specific project they support, at a frequency that varies depending on the type of collaboration, but is at minimum annual.
