SOS Children’s Villages are committed, in accordance with their established policies, internal protocols, and applicable legal frameworks, to operate ethically and with integrity, maintaining high standards of transparency and trust.
They do not tolerate any form of inappropriate behavior, sexual harassment, abuse, exploitation, or bullying, nor any act of abuse of power, fraud, bribery, or health and safety risk by any employee against any individual, regardless of age, gender, sexuality, religion, or origin.
In this context, they encourage their staff and anyone who becomes aware of or witnesses any irregularities, violations, or generally any acts or omissions contrary to the law, related to the activities of SOS Children’s Villages and the professionals working with them, to report these issues so that appropriate measures can be taken in a timely manner.
Please note that this procedure does not cover complaints related to personal circumstances, interpersonal disagreements, or commercial transactions.
No individual will face any adverse consequences for raising a concern. The Children’s Villages will not tolerate any retaliation against those who choose to raise a concern.
Furthermore, they are committed to protecting individuals who report violations from any retaliation or other forms of unfair treatment, demonstrating zero tolerance toward anyone attempting to prevent someone from submitting a report or expressing their concern.
Individuals who seek advice, raise concerns, or report violations will always be considered to have acted appropriately.
In the Wistleblowing Policy and Procedures, you can find information regarding the areas covered by the Violation Reporting Procedure and the steps for submitting a report. Reports can be submitted either with the reporter’s name or anonymously, with confidentiality ensured in all cases.
