Volunteering is an integral part of our work since it represents the basic humanitarian values that we serve.
Having received training our volunteers are actively involved in the programs we operate in Athens, Alexandroupoli, Heraklion, Thessaloniki, Ioannina, Kalamata, Komotini and Patras, with the continuous support of professionals.
Volunteer work is an essential complementary part but not a substitute for the scientific and pedagogical work of professionals.
Our volunteers provide support services in the following areas:

- Networking with the community
- Promoting the work of SOS Children’s Villages
- Sharing a new perspective and input to our work
